I am landing interviews, but there is a problem— I am terrible in interviews!

I fumble my words, act weird, stall in what I’m saying, and I just don’t present myself well.

I think I feel insecure and like my experience isn’t enough maybe. I know they say PRACTICE but I’ve had quiet a few interviews at this point.

What can I do to stop being so awkward? Anyone have any tips on social skills with interviews?

  1. It’s one of those fields where there is absolutely no absolute path to be the best interviewer ever. When I think of all time greats though, my mind goes to Nardwuar and Louis Theroux.

You need to find your voice. You need to find out what you need out of a person, and use preparation and on the spot adjustments to get it.

  2. Prepare for your interviews by researching the company and the position, practicing common interview questions, and dressing professionally. Also, try to be confident and calm during the interview, and focus on answering the questions clearly and concisely.
