What’s the best way to do a urine sample for the doctor as a woman?

2. I mean it’s not much different than a man, place cup under stream and collect

3. Having to pee in a cup while pregnant is the absolute worst lol

5. Offer them a golden shower? Or you know, piss in the sample pot that they give you. Your call.

6. To piss in the sterile cup they give you or into a toilet bonnet and then pour it into the cup

8. You’re supposed to use a sanitized wipe to do a “clean catch,” especially if the urine test is for the presence of infection. Other than that yeah the comments got you covered

9. Pee a little. Hold. Put cup under urethra. Pee until done / cup full.

11. Usually they give you a wider mouth cup to pee into. Then you pour the sample into the smaller capped bottle and throw the other one out.

12. Im pretty sure they should provide you with the method which will most likely be a pee in a cup sample.

13. Buy a proper urine cup. Yes you can but those plastic cups at a drugstore, they are leak proof.

    Pee in it. put the lid on. Give it to doctor.

14. It’s always messy whatever you do. You can aim it as much as you like, but you’ll always be way off. Sometimes there’re are two streams too, that I am not prepared for! I’m always suprised how fast the container fills up too. It’s like, whoa there! Turn the flow off quick! All over hands. All over pants! Men have it much easier in this regard I feel.

15. I usually pee first, then stop, position cup and add last part so that I don’t have a strong splatter oozing out. Works great to avoid splashing.

16. As directed. Wipe with the little cloth they give you, separate the labia, pee a little into the toilet, pee into the cup, finish peeing as per usual

17. OP do you have pee shyness? I used to get anxiety about this myself
