1. I turned 50.

2. I’m a butch lesbian. I’ve been one since i was 11. I’ve never had a male flirt with me or approach me. Never been sexually assaulted or catcalled by a male

3. I stopped worrying about it. It has no power over me when I stop acknowledging it.

4. As a woman who is from generation X. We were constantly told boys will be boys.
   True story. When I was 25 I was raped by Hispanic man that was up here to fix roofs and did not speak English. When I went to court the prosecutor said that I looked him in the eye and that made him think it was okay.
   I’m not even kidding this shit really happened
   I don’t typically look men in the eye. They take kindness for sexual advancements and it’s bullshit. Basically I’ve stopped being nice to them too.

5. You can’t affect how people look at you, so I just ignore it.

6. I’ve always had RBF. Most men seem repelled by that so I’ve been fortunate.

9. By being nothing they want to look at plus I give off a very ominous and obvious “I’ll kill you/punch you and I know how to do it” vibe so I have that going for me too.

10. I had 2 kids, gained 20 pounds, and wear giant hoodies and no makeup. I also moved to an area where any woman over the age of 24 is seen as expired and ignored.

11. I got older than 40, fat, and grey.
