It’s my first time posting here.
I have this situation where our Directors from US will be visiting us (I work in a specific country here in Asia) in the coming weekend and I was told by my manager to meet them first in the hotel before he will pick us all to have a dinner.
I’m so nervous. I don’t have any exposure in meeting high level officers with my previous jobs and to think they’re Americans and that I have to speak English. While I am not that bad in speaking it, I’m just worried how to carry and hold the small talk with them while we wait for my manager in the hotel lobby.
It’s their first time travelling here, and I kinda wanna set as well a good impression. I’m not a totally shy person but Im just so nervous for this weekend. What topics can we talk about? Or questions I can ask to them to trigger a conversation?
