Do you put your family before your s/o? If so, why?

1. No because he is my family.

   ( moved abroad and met him here and he has been my rock ever since)

2. The conflict hasn’t come up but my general list regarding actual needs is kids > wife > nuclear family > extended family.

3. Absolutely not. I didn’t choose my family. I chose my so. They can get with it or fuck off and that’s their choice, no hard feelings.

4. Yes, my family isn’t perfect but they have raised me and I know I can trust them. I will never have the same 100% trust with my s/o and I know she could always leave me.

5. My SO is my family. We are best friends, lovers, he’s the best human I know. I’m so lucky. He comes first, as do I.

6. Depends what we are talking about. My parents broke down and we are in the middle of dinner? Sorry hun, gotta go help the fam. My family has helped BOTH of us so much over the years with rides, babysitting, loans, being stranded etc. If they need help, im there for them.

   But if you are asking who the most important person is in my life? My wife.

7. I was willing to fight family and do something they all will hate me for doing so especially my mum which is moving far away from home to the US to be with my SO

8. My wife and kids are my primary family now. My parents and brother are secondary family.
