Is there a German “Frankenword” that describes a person that you’re not really sure is being ironic or being sincere in saying some insane things? Alex Jones is an American conspiracy theorist that I’m not sure is a Warhammer 40k fan or a genuine believer in the strange things he says. This [video](https://youtu.be/4Oavy7VNDCM) makes me wonder sometimes. Poe’s law isn’t a great term for this I feel.
Looking at my outstanding student debt is always scary for me as it barely changes from year to year. Despite my monthly repayment bill tripling since last year, and despite having a salary that would put me in approximately the top 5% of earners in the UK (the UK student loans company don’t apparently take into account the vastly higher cost of living in California), it would take me until I’m approximately 41 to completely pay off my loan and the interest I’ve accumulated on it, assuming my salary stays constant (which it almost certainly wouldn’t if I ever returned to the UK). And I’m from the cohort that went to uni *before* tuition fees got raised to £9k a year. What a fucking joke.
The best cure for Monday syndrome is to work until you go to bed on Sunday 😁 then you don’t really feel the Monday.
I need another cup of tea…
