DM’d a girl off Instagram that I met in college once. We were messaging on there for two days. Some good detailed replies from her and everything. I was kinda running out of things to say and wasn’t sure if I was clear to ask for her number so at one point I asked how her Saturday was going to which she replied “it’s good.” I then asked a little while later if she was doing anything fun and I think I was left on read. Is double texting here worth it or let it go? What would you say to gauge interest or bring the conversation back?

Just dm them again. I doubt they’re interested. However, what’s the worst thing that’s gonna happen? You never see them again even though you don’t know them that well? If they open it and don’t respond move on, and maybe don’t expect much from women who you barely know to be interested in you.
I don’t mean to sound harsh when I re read my comment for errors it makes me sound like a dick but I don’t mean to be.
My take from this is that she lost interest in the conversation when she realized there’s romantic interest on your end. Better just to move on, she didn’t give the number and is replying short responses then not at all. It’s pretty clear she isn’t interested.
