Hey yall, a couple days ago I was home and I ended up visiting a bar I felt comfortable in and I ended up striking some convo with this one guy. It was really REALLY great, almost a relief when we were able to have a deep talk and the bartender even got involved. But throughout this, I couldn’t *add* to the conversation. Earlier that day I had been helping my mom move from place to place and even before that, I was up for around 30hrs traveling. I still blame myself however for not being able to think deeply enough to add to that convo.
I mean does this happen from time to time? I can’t help but blame myself for fumbling the ball on a topic I’m well versed in.

  1. You probably contributed more than you thought since the conversation didn’t seem to end abruptly. Some people love to hear themselves talk, but you can always say things like: that’s interesting |what makes you think that | what happened next | that’s wild. Not sure what I would have done. You can always start with an article you read or something you watched. It takes a bit of practice, but you’ll be fine.
