I need some physical hobbies outside of the gym. I’m just curious what y’all are up to

  1. I dance Lindy Hop! It’s exercise, socializing, expressing creativity all in one <3 (+ I also dance Blues, Elektroswing, Ecstatic dance and modern folk)

  2. Thinking deeply about daily problems and troubles. The pain exercises heart and brain muscles, and if you could add smoking to that you’ll exercise your lung muscles as well. Try thinking about past mistakes and what are you going to do in the future as well for maximum results.

  3. Walk to audiobooks. Sharpen body and mind. Livribox has works in the public domain for free, so you can get some cool concepts or be knowledge about some classics. It also stops you from being duped. I don’t think anyone that’s read The Prince really believes that Machiavelli was being satirical, but people that need to Publish or Perish come up with bullshit takes because the takes are novel

    Or you can walk out best sellers- I saw that Warhammer is going to end their book run soon, penultimate book came is expected out on the 28th.

  4. Top 3, in no particular order:

    – wade fishing, where I’m moving in water the entire time and might have to hike a couple miles home from where I started when I’m finished.

    – trail riding on my dirt bike. Mountain biking too but not as many trails where I live.

    – shooting/hunting

  5. Bowling, golfing, book readings, cooking classes, shooting range, airsoft, D&D sessions, card games, wargaming, hiking…….yeah prob the last things I’ve done in the past months.

  6. Probably target shooting, but ammo is so expensive these days so I don’t get to do it as much.

  7. I love discovering new music. I found this guy that goes by Basic Printer this past week and I can’t wait to get the CD I ordered from him.
