    I can’t explain why this works for her, since I’m not your girlfriend. But I have a few ideas.

    First, sometimes it’s easy to get into your own head too much and focus on the wrong things. In that case, the best thing for you to do is to just put it aside and do something else. I also think it’s best to change your bodily position, too, since we associate ideas with places. When I’m stuck on something at work, I like to just walk around the building a few times. Lots of people say that when they stop trying to wrestle with a problem and just take a shower, the problem suddenly seems so simple.

    So from this perspective, having sex with you to just take a pleasant mental break makes perfect sense. It’s the same idea as taking a walk or taking a shower, except I think it’s probably more fun than either of those. You could even say it’s like doing the dishes: a mundane thing that you wanted to do anyway that has nothing to do with it.

    The other idea is that sex with you is in and of itself inspiring. Maybe the sensations that she feels when your dick goes into her make her see stars and think of impossible things. Maybe sex with you is so mind-blowingly good that every time the two of you fuck, she thinks of a thousand songs or a thousand stories–and maybe even those thousand songs still can’t quite express all the feelings she felt when fucking you.

I see it as being similar to how, during repetitive/familiar tasks such as taking a shower or washing dishes, my mind will naturally wander and I’ll sometimes make my best creative connections that way without even trying to.
