When they show themselves to be very talented at one of my hobbies.
I know it’s not good, but it’s just that they’re already so great at so many things I can’t do that I want to keep some stuff only I can do, you know? But also, I admire them a lot. I’m just a bit insecure about not being as polyvalent and talented, and therefore less interesting to them.
I once got jealous because my partner cane home and said hello to the dog before me. He said, “He ran and greeted me at the door. You didn’t even pause Netflix.” Yeah, that’s fair.
When he has an uninterrupted shower where no tiny humans are trying to claw their way into the bathroom to join you.
He’s good at EVERYTHING! I have a love/hate relationship with it because the things I always considered myself good at, he’s either on par or better than me. It’s awesome that he’s so naturally gifted and athletic, but annoying all the same. I’ll never say that though because it’s petty.
