Me (17F) and my boyfriend (19M) have been together for 6 months. I’ll be brief: he used to fuck her and he goes to the same uni and class as her. I have always known about this and he has always been pretty sincere about his past sex life. My problem is that he hates her. I think that if you have strong feelings towards someone (no matter good or bad) it’s because they make a difference or they stand out from the crowd. I’m worried that he hates her because he likes her, which happens quite often. Maybe I’m overthinking it but I would even prefer that they were friends than this. Every time they have a group project or anything he tells me how much he really despises her. Idk if that’s a good sign, any thoughts?

FWBs can definitely result in hurt feelings on both sides.
the whole point is: WHY does he hate her? is it because she did something offensive, and then theres nothing to fear, she’s an ass and that’s it, or is it because he had feelings and she refused to return them? then I would worry.
