  2. I brought groceries for my parents because they are getting older and its less easy for them.

  4. I bought cheesecake for my bf, so he went on to google the calories, and blamed me for trying to make him fat. I also got him a bottle of expensive French perfume, and sucked his dick like a porn star while he was watching Formula 1. The next day, he told me the relationship ‘was going too fast for him, and he wanted to continue to see me at his own pace’. We’re not together anymore and I’m done doing shit for men or humans.

  6. stepped in when someone at the grocery store was being douchey to a young cashier. this woman was in the middle of going on and on about things being out of stock and the cashier not having the reasons why and blah. i just said “excuse me?” and asked her where she got her wallet. she switched gears and talked to me until her transaction was done and left the poor cashier alone.

  7. Earlier today, I gave a friend some tough love over how he’s clearly making bad life choices and how I was worried that he was getting swept up in a tide of what feels right instead of making choices. He’s usually a kind and thoughtful guy, but when your dad kills your mom and your girlfriend tells you she probably never loved you the day after sending you engagement rings she’d like, it makes sense that you’d start lashing out at the world. I worry about him, and I think it’s kinder to look after his future self instead of giving him platitudes when he asks me for them.

    As for happy nice things, I gave my partner a foot rub yesterday and helped a neighbor move furniture.

  8. Spent a week making easy freezer meals for my mom since she recently had surgery. Also did her laundry, cleaning, dishes, and heated food for my dad who is a manbaby who can’t even microwave a lunch of leftovers. Apparently his arms are painted on. Hope he dies first because he’d literally starve to death without help.

  9. At the start of the Ukrainian invasion, I “rented” 4 Airbnb’s. I had no intention of actually staying, I just wanted to donate money to people who needed it and bypass the charities that might siphon off the donations. I have just booked another 3 and extended the previous 4.

  11. Took my MIL out to a nice girls dinner. Me, her, my sis in law, and the kids got all dressed up, went somewhere fancy and ate like royalty. It was nice and it might become a monthly thing for us

  13. Last week, I saw an older lady walking on a 2 lane highway near my house. She was carrying 3-4 grocery bags. I stopped and asked her if she needed help. I took her home. her house was another 2 miles away and she was so overwhelmed.

  18. I am donating clothes, bags and a few parfumes. The clothes will be sold in Poland and Ukraine and the proceeds will go towards breast cancer research.

  19. My roommate doesn’t like me that much (I reckon) but I try my best to make things easier for him and more convenient (putting his stuff in front of all my stuffs in the pantry, putting his towels above before mine) because despite that he is sometimes cold and tells me I’m annoying, I think he’s nice deep down.

  21. Hunched over my baby’s crib and softly sang to her until she fell asleep. Though to be fair I’d do anything for her cute little butt.

  24. I cooked chicken for my partner and I for dinner tonight. She always appreciates it even though I’m not a great cook.
