What makes a man a craven in disguise?

  1. Usually, being either a showoff or a bully. If you have to act tough or cool to the world, instead of silently showing it through action, then that will most likely mean you’re not and are hiding behind a mask. The second anyone legitimately challenges them, they back down hard.

  2. When someone is throwing around insults, put downs, and general disrespect. Often presented as a joke to deflect responsibility, or hitched to some sort of positive ideal like “manhood” to make it seem noble. They tear others down so that they can feel they are above someone else. They’re cowards, so they don’t know how to stand on their own without leaning on somebody below them.

  3. The other men of the night’s watch laugh at you. I like the word craven but it’s not very popular or common.
