Yes it is possible but you need to have a solid group of people to support your growth to build self esteem and confidence. It also takes times as it comes naturally. If you force it it won’t work to your favour. Again I’m just going by my experience as I’ve been there before.
Yeah, thankfully this is one thing that is fixable. You have a do a lot of work around child abuse and neglect. You may not realize it, but pretty much all self-esteem was created when you were young, through interactions with your primary care-givers. If you have the money, get into therapy. If you don’t, look into “overcoming childhood abuse” in youtube. There are tons of psychologists talking about it.
