My drive and desire for more. Not being complacent. He has no drive or ambition.
We were together for just under 8 years from the start or my 20s until the latter stages. He was fun, we had great times and made great memories but as we aged together he wanted to keep continuing like that. He got older but the friends he kept remained the same age as if he would refuse to accept it’s okay to leave your early 20s behind. Any talks of a future and a family (which was key to me) were dismissed and the relationship dynamic changed as I took on more and more responsibilities which he just decided not to.
