I care what I put on my skin. I want something more natural. But I also don’t like the smell of essential oils. I realize that all fragrances are made from some kind of natural extract – I’m talking about those Young-Living-style oils that all have a distinct smell. It’s like the new generation of hippies. I dunno what it is, but they all smell similar, and the bar soap I get at Whole Foods has that same kind of smell.
I’m hoping for a high quality soap with minimal ingredients that smells more like cologne and less like oregano or peppermint or Thieves or tea tree or whatever the hell.

I’m actually a soap salesman, my name is Tyler.
[Dr Squatch](https://drsquatch.com/) is some really good soap
I used to use pine tar soap. It’s great for skin conditions and has a manly scent.
The green dove men+care soap is great and does not dry me out
Whole foods should carry an unscented bar soap
Make your own.

I did find some of your post contradictory. You state, “I want something more natural” but then you follow it up with a complaint about natural extracts and you want a non-natural smell (cologne) that was produced in a lab. Maybe just use unscented and toss on some cologne.
Dove soap. No idea what’s in it, but I swear by it. Some sort of moisturising stuff so your skin isn’t dry like with some soaps, no real scent at all.
Irish spring
Go to the baby and infant section of the supermarket, get a bar of baby soap. Works fine and doesn’t have a load of perfume added.
I’m a pregnant woman and a birch tar soap that my parner uses is like an aphrodisiac for me lately, so earthy and masculine. I wonder is it due to hormones or what’s it about lol
But yeah, pine tar, birch tar, juniper soaps and aromas on men… to die for
Glycerine soap fron Nuitroginabor however you spell it. It is as basic as it gets without being shitty.
Go to an online soap making supply company and get a block of melt and pour soap. It’s meant to be melted and poured into molds with colors and fragrance added. But you can just slice off a bar sized hunk and use it as is. I’ve used [this](https://www.brambleberry.com/shop-by-craft/soap-making/melt-and-pour/sfic-white-melt-and-pour-soap-base/V000760.html?cgid=3-mp_soap_craft#start=1)
Irish spring is pretty good
