I’m male 20 and my girlfriend is female 18 we have known eachother for 3 years been dating for 2 and a half years everything was great up until last Wednesday she goes to college now and she has reading week this week so we planned to hang out and stuff but on Wednesday she told me she needed a break out of the blue there where no prior signs of this coming and I’m just so confused Becuase I truly do love her and I believe she truly loves me as well she told me she loved me so much before I went to work that day then in the after noon she told me she wanted a break For 2 weeks I don’t know what to do she said she needs to figure out what she wants and that she grew apart but I just don’t understand where it’s coming from since there where no prior signs to her being unhappy I’m just so lost should I be worried that she’s gonna break things off for good ?

People change, especially during college. It sucks, but it’s foolish to think that anyone is going to end up with their high school sweetheart, especially if one is going to college and the other isn’t.

She’s off to college and she’s met & hooked up with someone and wants to move on from her high school sweetheart.
