What’s a gas price in your area that makes you say “Damn that’s cheap!”?

1. If it gets below $3.00

2. Anything $2.XX, but its been awhile. Usually its $3.XX.

3. Anything near $4. It is creeping back to around $4.50

   E: just got gas today. add $0.50 to both amounts. Fucking hell.

4. I honestly couldn’t tell you, I buy about three or four tanks of gas a year

5. Now if it were to get below 3.00 I’d say that’s damn cheap, if it went below 4 though that would be nice

6. I guess at this point, anything less than $3 feels like wow, what a deal. When is the last time I saw gas under $3? I can’t even remember.

11. $2.25… but I haven’t seen that since 2021 when I first visited. If I was back in the UK I’d think that was a bargain because that would be the same as California prices.

17. I just paid $4.69 at Costco for premium. Anything under $4/gallon would be ok.

18. Anything below $3 because there’s a monopoly on gas stations in my town and it’s always at least $0.20 higher than the surrounding areas. If surrounding towns are matching my town’s rate that means the price is about to go up.

19. Anything under $5 is acceptable. Closer to $4 would make my day.

20. Anything below $2. Any higher and I feel like that’s about normal. We’re kinda swinging between $2.80ish to about $3.50 now though.

21. Well it was 2.89 two days ago but it jumped to 3.05

24. Currently? Like 2.88, the cheapest I’ve seen in my twenty years of existence has been 1.45

27. $2.99 and lower. I’m in Illinois now and from what I’ve seen, Indiana is just as bad.
