What’s the stupidest thing that you spent a shitload of money on?

1. I put money into an FSA, thinking any unused portion rolls over into the next year like an HSA does. FSAs often do not roll over. I lost money on literally nothing.

2. Alcohol.

3. A ticket to Australia to visit a guy who turned out to have a fiance. I never ended up using the ticket. Such a fucking waste.

4. Lottery tickets – never won anything
   Not addicted to it or anything but had a habit to always get 1 or 2 while doing groceries. After i added up the numbers after blindly doing it for 3 years i was in shock and angry at my own stupidity

5. A horse that I hated and who hated me. Then she went and got a joint infection, so I had to spend another $6000-$8000 to save her life. Yeah, I definitely regret getting her, especially since she was a race horse that I bought with the hope that she’d make me money, not suck me dry lmaooo. At least she has a good life with a new owner now.
