I’m just looking for general advice, I guess.

I’m 28M, and I’m feeling a lot of anxiety about the future.

I’m almost done with my associates degree, but I’m not sure what I want to do for my bachelors (or if I even should get it). I tried out IT stuff, and I don’t think I’m a good fit. I’m not interested in most medical stuff. I’m not the engineering type. I definitely would choose some sort of art major but I’m working on my art skill without school and don’t necessarily want to work in animation or something similar. I’m mostly left with business admin majors, or trades. It seems like BA type jobs are high stress/lots of expectations, and trades seem just to wear a lot of people down. Is that all there is?

Most people I know are doing worse than I am. I don’t make a ton of money, but even friends that make more money than me aren’t making much more. My family is not college educated, and neither are most of my friend’s families.

Is there any way to get a good paying job (Idk, 60-70k/yr) in the Houston area without dedicating my entire life to it? Do I need to get my bachelors?

I really just want to provide for myself and my girlfriend and have an OK house for us and our dog, and it seems so far out of reach.
