  1. It really depends. Pretentious people, I ask for more specifics if they’re only speaking vague flowery terms, but that’s true in my approach to non-pretentious people also.

    Condescending? That one is contextual . A fellow peer? A friend? Rando?

    A clerk at the DMV?

    *Deep breath. Try again or ask for another person.*

    Boss or upper level employee?

    *Alert my peers that this happened and investigate if it’s happened to others. If it’s bad enough, I tell my supervisor/other advocate for assistance.*

  2. I don’t. It’s probably one of the worst traits to have so I won’t want to be around that person.

  3. Honestly, I’m not very good at dealing with condescending people. Last time I had to I ended up being petty and talking to her the way she talked to me, worked though, she hated it so much that she stopped lol
