This is partially in response to the common misconception that spray deodorant doesn’t exist here due to it not being great for TV/film audio…
But also in response to how Dove keeps changing their damn packaging and now I can’t tell if the stuff I am buying is the nice blue solid gel or the shitty white chalky shit and I am sitting here with itchy fucking pits because I chose wrong. What happened to clear tops?

>common misconception that spray deodorant doesn’t exist here
Really? I’ve never heard this.
My deodorant options are basically:
– axe
– old spice
– degree for men
– those Gillette ones that are basically tubes of ooze
So of those options I use old spice.
I’ve seen body spray but don’t know if I recall ever seeing spray deodorant. I’m sure it exists though.
Anyway I usually just go with old spice and don’t think about it.
I use degree ultraclear. It doesn’t irritate my skin and it doesn’t leave marks on my clothes. It is a stick format.
Old Spice stick
A mixture of baking soda and cornstarch. Why buy what I can make?
WD40 for day to day use
Hoppes #9 for dates and special events.
I have a few of them scattered around. I don’t like the spray (the one I tired like burned my skin. Not a fan) and gel is just cold and sticky.
The ones I currently have include the Suave Sweet Pea, Suave Powder, Lady speed stick, and Arm &Hammer
Old Spice, the original one or one of the “sport” versions, kinda depends on if one or the other in on sale. As long as it’s the blue stick, I don’t fuck with the white ones, they leave white crumblies in my pits.
Unscented solid Speed Stick.
Tom’s of Maine “complete protection” stick. It’s labeled as aluminum-free
Old spice
Old Spice spray, scent picked at random.
Dove unscented antiperspirant
I use old spice sport gel. The sprays I’ve tried do more to stop my respiration than perspiration, and most of the bar deodorant, white or blue, irritate my underarms.
I genetically do not require deodorant. I haven’t used it in ages
Blue gel old spice. I like the goofy animal themed ones
I’m a woman and I used to use Old Spice Hawkridge. Smelled like Coconut, very faint. Then they got rid of it and sorry of replaced it with Dragonblast but that smelled stronger and not as good so I switched to Dove. I don’t like it. 😂
Oh and one more thing, don’t use Certain Dri unless you want your armpits to itch like crazy
The Old Spice white deodorant that smells the best and yes women can use it as well.
What im gonna tell you will change the game for you. Degree black/white antiperspirant. This is what you want. I know a lot of people in this thread are saying old spice but that is the most fragrant deodorant out there. Old spice is for kids in high school gym or old guys. Degree black/white. Look into it
Native
I use scentless stick deodorant because I work in a hospital and you’re not supposed to wear scented things like deodorant, perfume, and cologne in medical facilities.
Outside of that I do use spray deodorant (Right Guard) for when I’m gonna get sweaty and stinky outside of work and the scentless just isn’t going to get the job done.
>I can’t tell if the stuff I am buying is the nice blue solid gel or the shitty white chalky shit
Typically, antiperspirants tend to be that chalky white stuff. Anything labeled just a deodorant should be your blue solid gel
Old spice
I use the Degree brand antiperspirant/deodorant spray.
Something that smells like coconut I think it is made by Suave.
Arm and Hammer Essentials in Juniper Berry or Rosemary Lavender. Clear and unlike other deodorants, lasts long and doesn’t irritate. Aluminum free too!
I use an Arm and Hammer white solid. It’s highly effective and the only white solid I’ve found that doesn’t melt it the car in the summer.
But I mean, isn’t spray deodorant worse for the environment? And needlessly so. Not that the misconceptions need to remain, but still.
I use Degree ultraclear. Seems to work, doesn’t stain my clothes.
I use a solid stick type deodorant. Often Secret brand but currently Degree.
I use Native.
I have to use antiperspirant (the white stuff) because it’s the only thing that lasts. Otherwise, using clear sticks or gel, my underarms suck it right up and then start to stink about an hour after, but the smell isn’t BO… it’s a weird, artificial chemical plastic smell.
My brand is Arm and Hammer. It’s like $2 a stick, but it works.
I use old spice fiji. I’m a woman, but its the only thing that doesn’t make my armpits break out
clear gel stick “Pure Sport” Old Spice
white powdery stick “Bay Rum” Dr. Squatch
whichever one I lay hands on first, really
I use an all natural brand called Meow Meow Tweet.
Dove. It’s pretty cheap and it seems to work.
Degree sport. Usually buy the 2 pack when I can.
