Was this a white person who said it? lol
Never been a pet name person at any point.
Jumping the gun on pet names in my opinion. I would at least wait until you’re exclusive.
Idk I wouldn’t really like being called that in any situation by anyone
For some people pet names are the go to like Hun for some is like calling you by your name could be the same with boo for them, I have never been keen on pet names either but have just learned to roll with it things like Hun and boo aren’t as personal I feel as like babe or baby but idk, some people are just overly friendly like that
It’s really presumptuous coming from someone you’ve never met. I wouldn’t reject someone for this — could be just a minor misstep on their part — but it would make me wary. I try to avoid people who presume familiarity instead of asking.
It’s a turn off for me, it implies a sense of familiarity we haven’t established yet. I’m going to think they call all women that. If we’re going to use pet names they’re going to come from a shared experience.
I’m almost 3 years into it with mine and he started that “boo” thing early and I balked. Besides, “baby” I’m not much into the pet names thing, especially common pet names. Nothing like meeting exes who were called the same.
Give him a pet name that is just way out of left field like Shrek or Baby Corn. Make it obvious what he did was ridiculous and his timing is awful.
