Wild Western America has always jumped out to me.

  1. Assuming in this scenario I’d speak the language and not stand out (or am like an invisible ghost), I’d go to Mesopotamia before the dawn of recorded history… if you want to see what life was like, let’s go somewhere we know very little about.

  2. I’d like to go back to the day Julius Caesar met Cleopatra and see for myself if she was as beautiful as they say, or if she was average-looking, as they also say she was.

  3. The 80’s! So many movies I wanna experience as they released as well as Eddie Murphy’s stand up and all the music too

  4. Neolithicum in Mesopotamia.
When Göbekli Tepe was built, agriculture started.

  5. Female here. I’d like to see this question asked on Askwomen. I don’t want to post myself because the endless notifications would be annoying. I’m curious though how many of the man haters would choose an era where women didn’t have many rights or opportunities.

  6. Late sixties, early seventies. Best music, coolest looking cars, everything seemed possible…

  7. not even a week, just a day.

I’d go and visit Albert Einstein on his death bed. He said his final words in German and his nurse couldn’t speak German.

  8. As a black person anytime before the 1970s will be “problematic” especially in the United States.

I’d go somewhere in the 70s when Disco was happening.

  9. This always sounds great, but I’m a brown man in America. So that means that I might be fucked if I go to the wrong era.

I would need to choose wisely so I could blend in whenever I went.

  10. Life was pretty garbage for the vast majority of history so it would probably sometime in the past 50 years or so.
