I’ve recently hit a spike and started doing it way more than usual. So I’m wondering if doing it too much could maybe be unhealthy or something? I don’t wanna hurt myself by going too much too often

  1. It won’t harm you physically, but keep in mind how it affects your life. If you notice that the thought of masturbation is getting in the way of daily tasks, you might want to slow it down. Otherwise, there’s nothing wrong with it.

One thing I’ll say though is to never let it become a coping mechanism or something you do when you’re bored. The dopamine rush and instant gratification is addictive, and you’ll lose interest in other activities that might be more rewarding in the end. So keep that in mind.

  2. There are plenty of health benefits. Like anything else it can become a problem if it interferes in your ability to get things done in your life. That’s pretty rare.

I’m a male, been masturbating all my life with no ill effects. Quite the contrary, it helps me concentrate and mitigates a risk of a nasty form of prostate cancer which I have a 97% chance of getting due to genetic factors.

If you can get your obligations done, eg school etc then you are fine. Your teen years are usually full of hormones and trying to ignore them doesn’t work and causes its own problems. Use it as a learning opportunity to figure out what gets you off. Your future sex life will benefit greatly from that knowledge.

  3. Lol as long as you don’t rub yourself raw you’re fine. I certainly did when I was your age (I’m a dude)

Just try to mix things up as many people get locked into only being able to orgasm from one specific action (pillow humping, fingering, etc…). This will help later in life when you’re ready for partnered sex.
