Is it weird to inquire about professional photos done for dating apps

I’m just going to sum it up short. Male 30 never been on date. Trying to change alot just to even accomplish that.
I know I can’t take a picture worth a damn. So I seen some ads floating around on fb for photography services. So far I’ve been hung up on and ignored via email talk. I guess nobody’s interested in making $200 that’s about what there charging. Maybe its weird to ask for something like that? Like that’s the end goal of these photos. May just run a want ad but even that would sound a little weird.
