1. Survival.

2. – A common enemy; real, imagined, or invented.

   – Religions, though superficially divisive, are common to all societies, and served as unifiers for primitive societies.

   – Money is more unifying that religion, because it allows people who hate each other to cooperate; provided the payoff justifies it.

3. The pursuit of happiness and fulfillment in life, though we may have different opinions on what that means or how to achieve it.

5. At this point in the west, anyway, I don’t think there are are any. It’s all a competition, either alone or a group agenda
