My Fellow Americans- What would the geopolitical fallout be if the President slept with another leader’s wife?

1. Let’s say, while he was president, 2nd term, Obama slept with Justin Trudeau’s wife. Not in a discreet way that could provide plausible deniability, either. Like I’m talking mile high club on Air Force One with the full press corps within earshot and a Marine Corps brass band on standby. During the ensuing press conference, Obama declares “Let me be clear…..I’m the commander-in-cheeks.”, and Trudeau’s wife enthusiastically agrees. Trudeau, naturally, doesn’t take this well. But…what can he do?

2. I’m pretty sure the potentially illegitimate off spring become prime minister of Canada. Or so I’ve heard.

3. Realistically, I think nothing could be done but practically I imagine there would be a cooling of relations and a lot of little diplomatic and trade favors would get a “no” rather than a “sure why not.”

   Trudeau would also probably have to seduce both the Obama daughters now that they are of age and then treat them shabbily.

4. Bad relations with that country until one of them leaves office. That’s about it.

6. OP, I envy you if this is what you had bad dreams about. I only recently got past “exam I haven’t studied for,” and I graduated college 17 years ago.

9. Honestly I don’t think our last two presidents have been able to sleep with their own wife. So complete non concern

10. No way they’d start a war, infidelity just isn’t worth going up against the American military complex

11. Probably just bad relations between the two countries until they leave office. I would be pretty impressed if joe Biden banged Vlads 25 year old wife though.

12. I hate dreaming. Because when you sleep, you wanna sleep. Dreaming is work, you know – there I am in a comfortable bed, the next thing you know I have to build a go-kart with my ex-landlord. I want a dream of me watching myself sleep.

    So anyway Joe Biden shagging Lyudmila Putina would be absolutely hilarious.

13. I mean… I would be incredibly impressed if Biden managed this. He’s one thousand years old

14. We do not go to war anymore over infidelity…These are not Kings and Queens, they are not the country, the people are in a democratic nation. There would be a scandal and lots and lots of memes, no wars or trade conflicts.
