I’ve (52F) been in a relationship with him (47M) for almost a year and a half. In the beginning he told be he didn’t have feelings for me. It almost ended several times but we are still together.
This past month, something changed in him. He started wanting me to come over more. He also kinda reassured me by telling me, that he didn’t see us not seeing each other. It’s been a big change.
I brought up my feelings to him again, and he said, he still didn’t have the same feelings but that it didn’t mean he didn’t love me, just not in the same way. I believe some of you on here will probably tell me to run.
This to me seemed like a revelation. His feelings have actually grown, when I’ve read so many times that there’s not a chance it would ever be anymore then sex. Somehow, I feel like he doesn’t quite understand his own feelings or how to interpret them. Because he goes back and forth.
I just would like to know if anyone experienced the same as me, but him/ her actually falling in love and staying together? How did it happen?
