I always understood it that if someone wanted to talk to you, they would. So when me and this guy are texting and I can feel that the convo is kinda dying out I’ll usually kinda end it by not contributing a ton, then he’s also stop contributing, so I just assume the convo is over. Then like 10-20 minutes later he’ll add another 4-5 word response to the last thing I said even if the last text in the convo was sent by him and very similar to the new one. Is he trying to reinitiate conversation or is he just responding late? And should I keep replying after that gap or just let the convo die?
