I’m a 57 year old male, I’ve had back surgeries that have damaged the nerves that control erections etc. That being said, I started out on my ED journey by taking the pills with mixed results, cialis worked pretty well, Viagra was a nope. I was then told Trimix was my best bet since pills weren’t working anymore, and all was great – getting over having to take a shot in the penis was not hard, but I guess my back injuries started to make it worse. I had to increase the dosage of Trimix and then had to get stronger Trimix compounded to where I am now taking the strongest Trimix that the pharmacy makes and am taking around 50 units per injection that doesn’t last like it should ( when it works ) and occasionally it doesn’t work at all ( after taking it for several years, yes I know and can “feel” if I’m giving it in the right spot ). I say this as I am in a month going to have IPP surgery ( placing a AMS 700 LGX prothesis ) in. I know afterwards no more natural erections, but was wondering if anyone else has had the surgery and wanted to know what the recovery was like, how noticeable is the scar, etc… I’ve watched several of the surgery videos and tried to find more info online but everything I’ve read says it’s a “mild” pain after surgery and that you get over that in a few weeks. I know after it’s all healed up my wife will be very worn out due to the fact that you don’t lose your erection until you deflate it. But I guess just looking for any info beforehand as to what exactly is about to happen, what recovery is like, and what the sex is like after the implant surgery heals.

I might suggest looking in FTM trans support groups for info. There’s a decent amount of trans men who’ve had penile implants put in and while it may not be an identical surgery, it may still be helpful. Best of luck on your journey!
Have you tried and excluded sleeves? Its nice to eliminate all non invasive options and you don’t have to cancel anything you already have scheduled to try this out.
