How do you know there is a compatibility issue within a relationship? When is something a deal breaker

  1. A dealbreaker is something you will not move an inch from and you expect a partner to be on the same page. A great example is children. You either want them or you don’t. If you’re not on the same page, there’s no future there. You can compromise on children. You can’t have half a child.

  2. If you disagree on something big like kids, marriage, sex, etc then it’s a compatibility issue. Whether it’s a dealbreaker or not is determining if you can live the rest of your life dealing with whatever the incompatibility is.
