I’m currently studying abroad in Europe and back in January started talking to this girl I was friendly with in high school (7yrs ago), and she recently got very attractive. We’ve been DMing on Instagram and Snapchat. Her responses make her seem interested and she has expressed interest in wanting to meet up when I’m back in the states, but she takes a while to respond (up to 24hrs) and has left me on read a few times.

What is the best strategy going forward? I will be back stateside and able to meet in person in 2 months, in May. Do I just keep things quiet until it’s time to meet up? Are there other things I can leverage? Thank you!

  1. Just keep it light and sporadic, she probably doesn’t wanna get drawn into some pretend long distance relationship without going on a date so that makes sense. Match her energy and don’t push for anymore than what she’s comfortable with. If she’s that interested she also has to do her part in order to maintain anything and it’s not on you to do that on her behalf…evidently she’s not one to back and forth all day (which makes sense) so keep it light and chill and see what it looks like in May

  2. I think for starters you should just leave the ball in her court see if she contacts you first, let her take the lead so to speak if she’s not being straight forward. Can you arrange to speak of video call or something that way you can see her and it’s not texting back and forth and sometimes with text things can get misconstrued.
