I am 20 yr old female that is currently in college. The thought of taking my own virginity has been in my mind since high school. My sex drive has always been high school. But now since I have my own space and I away from my family it as hit it’s all time high. It has been hard for me because I masturbate almost everyday and I have been wondering how it would feel to have real sex. I have never been and a romantic relationship with anyone so I have never been kissed or touched in any kind of way. I have social anxiety so it has been hard for me to make friends let alone a significant other.

My main concern is if my best friend were to find out or if I accidentally reveal my secret. We both go to the same college and we were even roommates at one point. When we lived together we had two other roommates that lived in a suite with us and one of the girls told us about how she took her own virginity in high school. Later me and my bff talked about it and she said it was weird and she shouldn’t have done that. Ever since then I haven’t wanted to share my personal thoughts on the subject.

I am still going to go through with it because I’m not going to let outsiders thoughts dictate what I do. My pleasure is more important than her opinion on virginity or how someone should lose it.

If anyone has advice or experience I will take any information or thoughts you guys have to offer.

  1. I’m lost here, you are already masturbating, so how else are you going to have sex with yourself?

  2. Im kind of confused, do you mean taking your own virginity as in a form of masturbation? Or just taking charge in when and how you lose it sort of thing?

Cause I dont think you can take your own, not in a literal sense anyway. You could break your own hymen but thats not losing your virginity.

  3. I’m assuming you are meaning like use a dildo on yourself??

Virginity is a made up social construct that puts a lot of pressure on young people. Maybe work on unpacking some of these ideas and why you think it’s so important to ‘lose’ it.
