My (F30) boyfriend (M30) has OCD and an obsession with germs. He will not eat food that he has seen anyone else touch directly, he needs his own bathroom to feel clean after showering/bathing, and he does not put anything in his mouth that is not food.

The largest issue I have with with his OCD is how oral aversion to putting anything non-food related in his mouth. This frustrates me because he won’t use his tongue when we kiss and he won’t provide oral sex. He also does not expect me to give him oral sex because he knows he can’t reciprocate.

How do I help him overcome this issue? Is this issue nonsensical? Should he just get over it or should I leave it be?

If its OCD you’re probably shit out of luck helping him overcome it. It’s not something he can just get over. You either live with it or break up.

  2. I think every single dude I know, would leave a relationship where they knew they would not be getting blowjobs, regardless of OCD or not. So it’s just kinda up to you. Can you accept not receiving oral for the rest of your life? Odds are with his OCD, its not gonna change. And if it does, it won’t be good oral anyways.

  3. This is how he will always be, sure theres expensive therapists but ocd won’t ever go away. Yes he may get better in a few areas but the bulk of this is how it’ll always be. Its obviously not his fault but you can’t be expected to stay if its not for you.
