Some people orgasm from vaginal stimulation. Others don’t. What you’re describing is quite common. Lots of women find it a lot easier to orgasm from clitoral stimulation.

It’s pretty common for afab individuals to need clitoral stimulation to orgasm. Some can not achieve orgasm with it. So yeah, what you are describing is pretty normal.

Totally dependent on the woman. A small number I’ve been with are orgasmic just from penetration. More are much more likely when they get both penetration and clit stimulation. I’m 100% fine with whatever they need to get off. Whomever you are with should be too.
Note that it may also be different with different partners. I’ve got a pretty large cock.
