What’s a true scary story that happened to you?

1. When I was in the Navy, I was stationed on a ship that was very old, and had multiple deaths in it’s history.

   I was on patrol on my ship when it was in dry dock, and there was not a single person on board. I was roaming through the engine room when I heard a wrench fall on the floor and I was the only one there.

   I ran upstairs to where the other person on watch was, he looked at me like I was crazy. We confirmed there is no one else on board and he was the only one there’s no way he could have made it back before me.

   Still gives me chills.

2. I was born.

3. Had a concussion and was supposedly knocked out for close to 10 minutes. A month later a kid had the same accident and died instantly.

5. Short version – A Bar I was working in had a guy drive buy and shoot out the front window with a shotgun. We’d thrown him out earlier and he obviously wasn’t real happy about it

6. Walking home from work to my pregnant wife I saw blood running down the street. Got to my apartment block and there was blood running down the steps. Going up there was blood all over the walls. Got to my front door and it was splattered with blood. It was even on the ceiling.

   I tried to open the door but it was locked from the inside. Suddenly the letterbox popped open and there was a pair of eyes looking up at me. The door flew open, I was grabbed and pulled inside, the door quickly shut and locked behind me.

   My wife was standing in front of me looking terrified. She tells me that the guy next door we had never met was Yakuza and running a “security” business from the apartment.

   That day he fired one of his employees who went home then came back to knife his ex-boss.

   I don’t know if he lived but we moved right after that.

7. a girl talked to me

8. As a kid I was home alone one day, and being a bad little brother because I was snooping around my sisters room. I was under her bed and heard something that sounded like someone jumping on the bed above me. I looked back and saw a shadow like black figure smiling at me upside down. It had glowing yellow eyes. All the windows and curtains were open and it was a very bright day in Florida. Sounds ridiculous but thats legitimately the only supernatural event thats happened in my life. Im 32.

9. I was in my pickup stoping at a gas station to get more Gas when a semi slammed into the front of my truck and slid the car 20 feet.

10. I fell out of the rafters of a shed and landed 1-2 feet away from a pile of T stakes, I think that was the closest I’ve ever come to dying.

11. I was walking home back from middle school and some guy stopped me and pointed a pistol at my face asking for my phone and any money I had in my pockets
    I was 12 when that happened and i was having only 5 pounds in my pocket and my phone was one of these old stuff with buttons. A 12 years old kid wouldn’t be carrying anything valuable you know?
