Hi, male (28).
Tested positive for chlamydia 2.5 weeks ago.
Took a weeks worth of doxycycline which seemed to do the trick, symptoms basically disappeared.
Its been about a week now since finishing my treatment and i feel a slight tingling on the tip of my penis plus i feel i need to urinate.
Fyi i suffer with anxiety and take sertraline.
My question therefore is:
Do i more than likely still have the infection and should i get further antibiotics? Supposedly Doxycycline has a 95% chance of curing so i am a bit perplexed if i have it still.
Am i worrying about it too much? And can phantom symptoms or other infections develop after finishing?
Just want to see if anyone has had similar instances and maybe i just need to wait a while longer.

May be worth it to get retested to confirm its cleared up. Like some other STDs, chlamydia is becoming resistant to antibiotics.
Of course could be a separate issue as well.
