I had both of mine completely removed a few months ago! The surgery itself was quick- I was in and out in a few hours. I was unlucky with healing, though, because one of my incisions became infected so it took a little longer for me to get back to normal.
But since then, there have been no issues! I still have small scars where I had my incisions but it hasn’t even been a year yet so I imagine they’ll fade more with time.
The best thing about all of it though is the peace of mind you get after! Best decision I ever made

I had my tubes removed (bilateral salpingectomy) in 2017. It was done laparoscopically, so I had a small incision made in my bellybutton and two near my hip bones (each is about a finger width long). I was a little sore, like soreness from a really intense abs workout. I didn’t even take Tylenol and was back to normal after ~3 days.
