Im(F19) worried that I make my boyfriend (M20) uncomfortable even thou he tells me I dont

I absolutely adore my boyfriend, he’s handsome, he cracks me up, he’s really nerdy and kind of a bookworm, he works two jobs and is a hard worker, and I can’t help but compliment him or hug him when I see him, I make playlists of songs for him and compliment him through text daily but still make sure to back off and give him his space, but I’ve noticed whenever I compliment him he just always says “lol” or “lol thanks” and in real life doesn’t have much reaction, the same kind of stuff when I talk about how much I wish I could hug him when we haven’t seen eachother for a few days (we normally only see eachother around 2ish days a week) I’m very affectionate and like making the people I love feel appreciated and loved, I’ve also noticed I’m always the one iniating things, like if I hug him he’ll hug me back, but he doesn’t hug me first, stuff like that
I’ve asked him multiple times if I’m making him uncomfortable or if he wants me to stop or do it less and he always says no, but it doesn’t feel like it,

TL;DR: I try to compliment, hug or generally anything of the sort him and it feels like it makes him uncomfortable even though he tells me it doesnt

  1. Maybe he’s just not as affectionate as you are, it doesn’t mean he’s uncomfortable.
