My luck has been 50/50. Sometimes they’ll appreciate the message and send something back, other times they get further annoyed and think of you as annoying and defriend you.
However I don’t like to assume someone dislikes me if they haven’t messaged back, and i don’t believe in that whole “If they never respond to your last message, they aren’t interested in talking to you again”.
To be clear, i’m not talking about sending someone 5 messages if they don’t respond. I mean as simple as sending them a funny meme you know they’d like, or something similar, like a whole day later.
What do you guys do personally?
