I guess more for constructive feedback than anything. This person is a friend after all, right? They see you as someone good enough to fuck and spend time with, but not relationship material for whatever various reasons. I want to know those reasons so I can work on those aspects of myself and be a good partner for someone, if not them. What do you guys think?

  1. In theory many of us would want honest feedback on these things, but in reality it’s hard to get. For instance, if it’s “I think you need to lose substantial weight” or “You’d need to have a better career trajectory” or some combo of things like that, no one would ever tell you. They’ll almost certainly give you reasons like it’s not what they’re looking for, which may or may not be true

The “F” in fwb is usually meaningless in most situations

You will most likely not get a genuine and honest answer so I don’t really see the value in asking.

Ultimately whatever the reason is they don’t want a relationship with you so if you want one then you should end things and look elsewhere.
