There’s a group of guys who keep gossiping about me and I feel helpless. What can I do in this situation?

So there’s this group of guys that go to same library where I usually study. One of them was someone I was interested in who ended up rejecting me when I made my intentions clear for him. I didn’t protest or anything despite the fact that he made fun of my to his friends and they were all laughing at me, I decided to move on silently.

I thought if I stopped talking to him, he’d think I moved on so he could leave me alone, except he and his friends kept making jokes at my expense and constantly talk behind my back while we’re all in the same room.

I thought I was being paranoid at first, but they were overdoing it and sometimes even while sitting close to me. I didn’t react in a volatile way. I regret that I haven’t confronted them yet, but they did manage to annoy me and they were so pleased by it.

I can’t even go about my day minding my own business anymore. Everytime I show up, they burst out laughing or do something weird and inappropriate.

How do I deal with this whole mess? I’m glad I won’t be seeing him for the next 3 weeks after I pass my finals.
