Many years ago, I had this amazing teacher at my secondary school. She helped me through a really tough time and almost completely stopped the bullying I’d been experiencing.
My daughter is due to start secondary school in September so we went and viewed my old school. I found out this teacher was still there but is retiring at the end of this school year.
Since she had such a massive and positive impact on my life, I want to get her something to remind her how much she was appreciated and how I will never forget what she did for me.
Unfortunately I am completely stumped and have no idea, so I’m coming to you, the wonderful collective of UK Redditors!
Sorry if formatting is off, on mobile blah blah blah…
ETA: Budget of about £50, a little more if it is the perfect thing! Lol

Budget helps in these situation.
A hamper with semi expensive snacks is always a good idea :3
Genuinely (speaking as a teacher), putting in words what an impact she had on you will be the biggest and most appreciated gift of all. Us teachers keep EVERY thank you card/note FOREVER.
If you also want to add a gift, consider a book subscription (voucher to choose a few books), perhaps cinema vouchers, tea for two, a food/wine hamper. Something to enjoy in her well-deserved retirement. It is really lovely that you want to recognise her. On behalf of teachers everywhere, thank you.
What subject does she teach?
