Basically falling asleep around 1 PM and waking up at 9 PM, allowing you to be awake when it’s (relatively) cool and dark instead of hot and sunny. What was it like? Was it worth it? How long did it take to adapt to and back? How did you do it?

  1. This is what strippers and a ton of other hospitality staff do in Las Vegas. You can take college courses or get your hair cut at 4am.

  2. No — it’s still 100 degrees overnight. We treat the summer like people in cold climates treat their winters. Basically stay inside most of the time and take precautions if you’re going to be outside for any long period of time.

  3. When I was at uni, I was nocturnal. Albeit that was in Boston and Palo Alto. It took me 2-3 days to adjust back to normal.
