I checked but they weren’t in the FAQ.

I have been Googling and apparently they are not required for anal sex? The rectum doesn’t store the poop the colon does.

Just want to be sure on this, because it’s good to know.

So there is no danger of expulsion of fecal matter during coitus because that’s not how the body is designed?

  1. If you go off-roading, you might get mud on the tires

Is a douche necessary? Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

  2. Can you run into shit during anal sex? Yes. Its possible that there is some stored deeper in, the receiver pushes out, the inner sphincter gets penetrated and more happens.

Realistically, if you are clean, the chance of running into shit are almost zero. Not zero, but close.

In nearly thirty years of anal play between my wife and I, we’ve run into tiny amounts of shit maybe twice – and both times were because we didn’t prep.

Enemas, douches – unnecessary. And frankly, they are often more trouble than they are worth. In a fair number of people, they set off the runs, which give you the opposite outcome than you seek.

For best results? Eat a lot of fiber. Whole grain bread, muffins, bananas. Even metamucil.

Poop ahead of time. If it’s solid, the toilet paper is clean or almost clean on the first wipe – you are good. Now, on the toilet, do a quick check. Lube up a finger (spit works), insert it. If you’re empty, anal is almost assuredly safe. If you’re not empty – fix that, then check again.
