All powerful scenes. Sam is awesome
Also Rick Grimes and Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead series is another one that comes to my mind but that’s not movies. That’s a TV series
Mia Khalifa getting spit roasted by two black dudes
Blues brothers
Stand By Me.
Four brothers
A bit old school, but Gladiator is a lot about leadership and having bonds with those you lead is important. Leading by example is important to me.
End of watch is a good one
RRR was a good recent movie that showed platonic closeness between two men
Brokeback Mountain. And before ya’ll start saying this is gay, it was just bros being bros up on a mountain.
Rocky 4
Lord of the rings
Lost boys, stand by me, heartbreak hill
Shawshank Redemption
300, LOTR, red tails, the watch (more of guys being dudes but eh), brother bear,
The Goonies, Fury
There are multiple movie adaptations, but I actually recommend reading the unabridged version of *The Three Musketeers*.
There is a whole chapter solely about them occupying an old house and getting into a big fight while drinking copious amounts of wine. There may have been gambling involved. It’s ridiculous and I loved it, 10/10highly recommend.
The Sunset Limited. Only characters are Tommy Lee Jones and Samuel.L Jackson. One stops the other from committing suicide. The rest of the story is just them in a room debating religion/morals/philosophy. So simple but poignant and addresses the idea of TRUE brotherhood
Wayne’s World
Bound by Honor’. blood in blood out don’t late the name fool you
It’s %100 a top 10 movie! SO quotable
The Wood, Band of Brothers, The Pacific, Darjeeling Limited come to mind.
broke back mountain. don’t get no closer than that
Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure
Not a film, but half the reason the first series of True Detective was so good was because of the relationship between Marty and Rust. If you want to understand male relationships and brotherhood, series 1 of True Detective is an excellent character study.
once upon a time in america
Not a movie, but a limited series, Band of Brothers. I got goosebumps so many times seeing what they were willing to do for each other.
Coach Carter, Boyz n Da Hood, Gridiron Gang, Forrest Gump (at least in the mid-later parts of the movie), American Sniper
Band of brothers
Master and commander.
Ford vs. Ferrari
The 1930s All Quiet on the Western Front
The greatest story never told.
The Defiant Ones.
Dumb and Dumber
Count of Monte Christo (2000’s version)
