This guy messaged me on Instagram and we started texting a couple of days before my birthday. I never met him IRL before and we have no friends in common.
On my birthday, during working hours, he showed up at my workplace so we could give me a gift and meet me in person (as a surprise). He knew where I worked because we live in a small city and you can Google my name or my phone number and you will easily find out my work address.
I had the afternoon off work, so I received a text from him saying that he had a gift to give me and showed up at my office but I wasn’t there.
This is a red flag, right? I never met this guy, we texted only for a couple of days. I don’t even know what to think about this and I would like to know if you guys think I’m overreacting because I’m about to tell him I’m not interested anymore.

Yeah, that’s a huge violation at least. You should probably cut things off with him. God I hope he’s just clueless and not a stalker. Good luck OP.
