Women, are you against paternity tests? why or why not?

  1. Nope. Please let’s get this done ASAP so no hiccups in the road in the future.

  2. Do you mean as in: I got pregnant when we were using protection/were sterilized, so there are doubts about me being faithful?

I would hope that my partner trusts in my faithfulness, but I can understand how outsiders might be judgemental, so I would do it, just to clear any doubts.

  3. I’m for them. There’s no reason someone should be raising a child that’s not their own against their will.

  4. I have nothing against paternity tests but baseless accusations of infidelity will end a relationship so I’ll agree to the test but I’m not sticking around. I’m against the idea of making paternity tests routine at the hospital because it it a stupid idea and a waste of time and money

  5. Paternity tests are a neutral medical tool that can be used for logical or illogical purposes. Their use is entirely situational.

  6. I can’t imagine being against them. Is that a thing you can be “against”? I’m all for them. But if someone I was with was accusing me of something like that, that relationship is clearly in trouble. If it’s over, who cares. Just do it and settle the thing.

  7. Entirely depends on the person obviously. If my husband asked me for one I would laugh my ass off but I’m not against them for others when necessary

  8. I say if a guy insists on a paternity test then if it comes back that the kid is in fact his, he will then never get to see that kid again since the lead up to the test results has him treating the kid like shit so why does he get the reward of getting to be in that kids life when he had doubts all along and his default reaction is to be an ass to the kid and especially the kid’s mom?
